Color burn has never been as useful [lately] to me as in this one. Just a simple blend, no alterations made aside from cloning over the occasional odd pixel and overlaying the other image. I took two pictures of the same object, the second one purposefully blurred to use for blending. I didn't have any specific plans for the latter image with anything I took that afternoon [in the car on the way to counseling] but I saw the two in sequence just now and decided to use them together and see how I like it. The result reminds me of digital rain, but it wasn't any sort of intended effect [elsewise I'd have used something closer/better]. It's pretty rare that I do a texture overlay without further manipulation or geometric construction.
